Attatchment confirmation

Hi,
I have just used the attachment feature to send a file, however there was no way to confirm the attachment had uploaded successfully.

It also didn't show any type of icon next to the outgoing message, this would be really useful.

I had to try uploading two more times to make sure it was attached, but still have no way knowing until the recipients get back to me.
