Spam solution Posted by toni to Mail-Features, 6 Sep 10 at 12:55
For resolving the problems with sending emails at many users (more 10 users) i propose this solution:

It must block only the users detected as spammers and not all GMX users.
You can implement a system that can you inform that such user is a "spam user" and after a certain numbers of complaints, the account is blocked for sending email during 1 month.

And in foot of emails page's sended by gmx platform it would be to display an link "report spam" [....]

Forward emails using groups Posted by raevans@gmx.com to Addressbook, 4 Sep 10 at 21:16
Need to be able to forward emails to the group. Very annoying that it is not possible and wastes time. The group should just be another address, not a separate area. [....]

community Spam List Filters (blacklist & whitelists) Posted by sandy.beach@gmx.co.uk to Mail-Features, 3 Sep 10 at 18:15
The current anti-spam filters are great, but there is always additional ones that slip through the net.

Why not have a community driven anti-spam list where potential email addresses and domains can be reported for sending spam.

GMX could choose volunteers based upon their performance on the forums and reliability and to vote.

So everyone can report an email address as a spammer, if enough of the same IP / Address / Headinfo is reported it gets flagged up and the GMX or commitee review the spam messagers and decide to block that address / domain completly from GMX users.

Make it faster Posted by vrk to File Storage, 2 Sep 10 at 17:05
Hi there,

I really like the GMX service a lot, but there are many bugs in it that I would like corrected soon. I have been trying to upload a lot of my files into the File Storage section, but it is too slow and simply a drag. My computer hangs every time I click on Multi Upload. The whole functionality of GMX in general is very slow in comparison with Gmail, etc. GMX must be made a breeze to work with. Right now it is nowhere close to that.

The themes are alright, but they must be consistent with all [....]

RSS/Atom feed for incoming mail Posted by keith.is.here to Mail-Features, 2 Sep 10 at 15:16
Gmail currently provides RSS/Atom feeds of the user's inbox. I believe they use SSI with the user's standard username/password to protect the feed.

It would be great if GMX could do similar. But because GMX uses folders, GMX should provide a feed of "All incoming mail" instead of "Inbox only", otherwise email that gets moved to other folders using user-defined filters wouldn't show up in the feed.

Thanks. [....]
